Sage has a very aromatic and pungent flavour(a little goes a long way) and goes well with many meat dishes such as pork, beef, duck and chicken. In Italy it is commonly chopped, fried in melted butter and served stirred into pasta or gnocchi. It is also commonly found in many stuffing recipes and in the making of sausages.
