Lotus - Bicarbonate Soda 500g

Lotus Bi-Carb Soda is used in cooking and baking as a leavening agent and to neutralise the acids in recipes. It is four times as strong as baking powder and once added to batters creates a reaction that causes the batter to rise. Use in cakes, breads, muffins and pizza bases.

Made in Japan, Packed in Australia. Packed in a facility that also process peanuts, tree nuts, cereals containing wheat and gluten, milk, soy, sesame seeds and lupin.

Our bi-carb soda does not have any added aluminium. This was a claim made by some companies but baking soda has never had aluminium added to it.
